1. Diagnose
Using the latest tools, our team will scan the vehicle then take it for a drive. At this point, we’ll have a rough idea of the problem and roughly how much it’ll cost to fix. This diagnosis takes between 30-60 minutes.
2. Strip and Advise
Once you give us the go-ahead to fix the problems found in the diagnosis, we’ll then remove the transmission, strip it and clean all its parts. This process allows us to determine which parts need repairing/replacing, so we can then give you an accurate quote.
3. Rebuild
Once you okay the quote, we’ll then repair or rebuild the transmission and reinstall it in the vehicle.
4. Final Checks
When the transmission is back in the vehicle, we then make sure that the problem is fixed. We rescan, test drive, and perform relearns if necessary. After that, the vehicle is all ready to go back to you!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Mainstreet for 35 odd years. I brought work to him when he first started up Mainstreet Transmissions in Victoria St in 1980. Mainstreet have always been very obliging in every aspect. Back in the late 70's and into the early 80's I had taxis and Mainstreet would give great service.
